The Factbird View uploads recorded video to AWS Kinesis Video Streams, which is an Amazon service for storing and streaming video. The video is encrypted when stored. The service automatically deletes recorded video after a period of time. By default we keep video for 30 days, but this can be changed for each Factbird View.
In case of short interruptions in internet connection, the Factbird View will buffer a few minutes of video in memory, and upload it once a stable connection has been restored. If there are longer outages, recordings may be lost.
